How Many Episodes of Goosebumps Are There on Disney+?
The series consists of a total of 10 episodes, with the first five episodes premiering on October 13, 2023, and subsequent new episodes will arrive every Friday thereafter.
Fans were incredibly excited about the show and shared on the release of the teaser trailer: “As a person who read the goosebumps books as a kid, I am WAYYYY too hyped for this show.”
Another agreed, “I’m so stoked for this as a fan of the show when it first came out I looked at it with my eldest daughter and just fell in love with it cause there wasn’t that many good scary shows out in the mid 90s ….. Now I have to watch it just for [nostalgia].”
Another called out a specific character they loved from the books, “Night of the Living Dummy is my favorite Goosebumps book. Slappy is my favorite character and his redesign is so cool! This redesign is better than the TV Goosebumps one because the Disney+ one is so realistic! The cracks in his face and his wooden glass eye opening was my favorite scene in this teaser trailer. No voice actor for Slappy yet, but I hope he appears in the official trailer coming soon.”
Rob Letterman and Nicholas Stoller’s new series adaptation stars Justin Long (Nathan Bratt), Miles McKenna (James), Ana Yi Puig (Isabella), Rachael Harris (Nora Parker), Isa Briones (Margot Stokes), and Zack Morris (Isaiah Howard), among a further cast. Each episode is named after a volume from the related book series.
For example, the first episode, “Say Cheese and Die!” is based on the Goosebumps book of the same name. It was the fourth novel in the long-running original series and featured cover art depicting sentient skeletons at a barbecue, the image remains an iconic emblem of the series.
