Jurassic Park’s Latest Project Unveils Exciting New Details

“Jurassic Park: Survival” has been keeping fans in suspense since its announcement, with little in the way of updates since its initial reveal. While major details remain scarce, a recent development reassures fans that the long-awaited game is still very much alive.

Saber Interactive, the studio behind the game, briefly included “Jurassic Park: Survival” in a recent company update, giving it a small but intriguing spotlight.

Though there were no new trailers, gameplay footage, or concrete release details, the update did showcase something fans hadn’t seen before—a brand-new background for the game's official logo.

Shared by Jurassic Park news channel Swrve ‘Jurassic' News & Content on X (Twitter), the classic Jurassic Park emblem now has the word “SURVIVAL” prominently displayed beneath it. However, this time, it’s set against a blurred laboratory, a setting that has not appeared in any previously released in-game materials.

While this may seem like a minor detail, it’s enough to indicate that progress is happening behind the scenes.

The lack of updates had left many wondering whether “Jurassic Park: Survival” was in danger of falling into development limbo, a fate that has plagued several past Jurassic-themed games.

The franchise has a history of ambitious gaming projects that never saw the light of day, making fans understandably wary. But this new glimpse, however small, is a promising sign that the game is still moving forward.

Set 24 hours after the events of the original 1993 film, “Jurassic Park: Survival” follows Dr. Maya Joshi, an InGen scientist stranded on Isla Nublar. With dinosaurs on the loose and danger lurking around every corner, players must navigate the island, uncover its hidden locations, and fight to escape.

The game promises “a fully realized Isla Nublar”, including areas only mentioned in Michael Crichton’s novel and never before seen on screen.

While the latest update doesn’t offer much in terms of gameplay insights, the fact that Saber Interactive and Universal are still pushing forward suggests that more substantial reveals could be on the horizon. With Jurassic World Rebirth set to hit theaters in July 2025, it’s possible that the game’s marketing will ramp up as excitement for the franchise reaches a fever pitch.

For now, fans will have to remain patient, but at least this small update confirms that “Jurassic Park: Survival” is still very much in development. Watch the trailer below:
