It’s always an exciting day when a Disney Park attraction reopens after being closed for refurbishment, with Guests flocking to enjoy it.
Visiting Walt Disney World Resort, whether Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, or Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida, or Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park in Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Southern California, is always an experience to write home about. Many rides at the Walt Disney World Resort, the Disneyland Resort, and the other Disney Parks, are routinely closed for refurbishment. Each of these rides returns in a staggered schedule for reopening so that Guests can still enjoy the Disney magic while they’re having their vacations.
Earlier we announced that Disney had finally given us a return date for one fan favorite: the “Matterhorn Bobsleds.” That day is finally here, and fans are clearly excited about it.

Any Disney Guest and Disney fan looking to enjoy this attraction can rejoice. The “Matterhorn Bobsleds” closed on for and came back to the today, October 14, 2022. At the time of closing, no official reopening date was provided.
The popular attraction tracked one of the longest wait times in the Disney Resort earlier today with 80 minute long lines as it reopened its doors.
Of course, crowds are not surprising to those who know how packed the Disney Park has been off late. It stands to reason then, that the reopening day of the ride would bring its fair share of people back to it.

Here’s what Disney has to say about the attraction,
Climb into a 6-person bobsled and brace yourself against howling winds as you ascend 80 feet up into an icy cave. Take in the sweeping views at the summit and prepare for a thrilling, high-speed ride.
Swoop in and out of shadowy caves and along jagged rocky ledges. Throttle through snowy chutes and around frozen precipices. Fly across bridges and under waterfalls before splashing down into an alpine lake.
The real peril is not snow or sleet! Stories abound of a growling creature known as the Abominable Snowman—who will do anything and everything to protect his home.
