The Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort are renowned for embodying the values of the Disney community. The two Resorts and their Parks—Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios Theme Park, Disneyland Park, and Disney California Adventure—offer visitors an unparalleled opportunity to bask in the Disney experience and revel in the magical atmosphere.
Since October 2021, Walt Disney World Guests have had the chance to enjoy the festivities and the special decorations that honor the incredible milestone of the Disney Resort’s landmark achievement. With the festivities having come to an end on March 31, 2023, Disney is slowly taking steps to return the Disney Park to its pre-50th anniversary state.
In that vein, there has been one notable change that has come to Magic Kingdom Park. Journalist Ashley Carter took to Twitter to share a photo of Cinderella Castle with a significant difference:

As Carter shared, the 50th-anniversary emblem has been removed from Cinderella Castle, and the original clock has been returned to the castle.
Fans all expressed their appreciation for the return of the clock, expressing, “This is my Happily Ever After moment.”
Another fan shared, “god is real, I can see the clock again.”
As many Disney Fanatics will know, the 50th-anniversary celebrations have featured special merchandising and decor at the Disney Parks. “The Most Magical Celebration on Earth” was certainly one to write home about for both good and bad reasons. It brought with it two new nighttime spectaculars, Harmonious, and Disney Enchantment, the former was incredibly controversial, and most fans have been happier to see it gone.
Disney KiteTails also debuted as a daytime show for fans to enjoy in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. (This was yet another miss.)
However, along with this, the 50th-anniversary brought back the Matsuriza Taiko Drummers, Sergio, and Alberta Bound in EPCOT, and the piano player at Casey’s Corner in the Magic Kingdom. The Disney Theme Park, home to the iconic Cinderella Castle, also featured a brand new Magic Kingdom cavalcade.
While fans might certainly be sad to go, the Disney 100 celebration will take its place, and the celebration, live at Disneyland, is already winning hearts! We can’t wait to see what unique offerings will come to Disney World to celebrate the Walt Disney Company’s monumental moment.
