We all enjoy the enticement of a full-service meal at Walt Disney World Resort. With so many awesome quick-service options to be found throughout the four theme parks, water parks, and various Disney Resorts, it makes those times when we sit down to full-fledged table-service dining an even greater treat. And while Disney restaurants, in general, are renowned for featuring elaborate theming as part of their dining room décor motif, for some folks, nothing beats dining al fresco. Fortunately for them, several of Disney’s most popular table-service establishments actually do offer the option of dining outdoors. If you were wondering where to venture to throughout Disney Parks and Resorts to enjoy full-service dining with outdoor seating, we’re telling you about these top 10 suggestions.

10. Tony’s Town Square

This longtime staple over at Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park has a history of mixed reviews among Guests. It seems that most folks either love it or hate it. But we happen to love it, particularly for its Lady and the Tramp theming and convenient location along Main Street, U.S.A. Their take on Americanized Italian classics is fairly decent as well, although some have expressed differing opinions. But it’s not intended to be a refined signature dining experience, just a fun family-friendly venue to take in a relaxing table-service meal at.

In getting back to the convenience of dining here, most folks know by now that when you time your meal around the time of one of the Magic Kingdom’s parade processions, you will have optimal views. This is especially true if you opt for their available outdoor patio seating. Do note that while there are several outdoor seating options available at many of the Magic Kingdom’s quick-service venues, this is the only location that offers full table service via an outdoor seating format.

9. Nomad Lounge

Sharing space with the Animal Kingdom’s signature restaurant Tiffins is this excellent lounge offering. In continuing the same adventure-seeking spirit as its next-door neighbor, Nomad Lounge provides a fun international explorer’s theme to all who come here to enjoy libations and light bites. They also feature many specialty drinks that do not contain any alcohol, making this a stop the whole family can enjoy.

While dining indoors is a pleasant way to embrace the wandering wonders they highlight in décor and style, adventurous eaters looking to explore uncontested sights may want to consider the available seating provided out on the wraparound deck. Not only are seating options more varied here, as to also include large comfy chairs and couches, but you will be treated to stellar views overlooking Discovery River and the bridge leading into the Park’s entrance for Pandora – The World of Avatar.

8. The Brown Derby

You’ve no doubt heard about this longtime signature dining favorite over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And perhaps you’ve even dined here yourself, taking delight in the Hollywood Golden Age feel that emanates so particularly within the atmosphere throughout the dining room. But keep in mind that you have the option to dine al fresco here as well. Those outdoor tables and chairs on the patio are there for a reason, and you don’t need to be one of the Hollywood elite to occupy them. All the same, you do need to specifically request seating out on the patio at check-in.

Dining outside at the Brown Derby delivers on a fresh open-air change and a more casual meal than you’d take to if dining indoors. It’s also a better option for those with children. All the same, it’s still a fine-dining experience that offers up the same phenomenal menu selections, complete with full wait service.

7. Spice Road Table

This restaurant, which can be found within the Morocco Pavilion of EPCOT’s World Showcase, has undergone several changes in more recent years in the way of operations and menu offerings. One thing that hasn’t changed, however, is its popularity with Guests seeking out exotic entrée selections that go above and beyond the ordinary. And it is here also that you may opt for dining outside, right next to the very World Showcase Lagoon, no less. Enjoy spectacular views paired with premium Mediterranean small plates in a most befitting format.

6. Rose & Crown Dining Room

Here is another beloved favorite within EPCOT’s World Showcase. Found on location in the United Kingdom Pavilion, this is among one of the most popular places to enjoy a host of cuisine classics direct from Great Britain and the surrounding greater region.

But did you know that there’s a limited amount of seating you may opt for right outside, along the patio overlooking the World Showcase Lagoon? In fact, these tables are actually pretty much in-demand and often requested by diners looking to do Brit bites al fresco. Perfect on a warm day, ample umbrella shading does the trick when things get too sunny, or a drizzle moves in. Likewise, during those surprisingly breezy days, they even put up a clear plastic encloser with heaters, making dining outdoors a year-round, any-weather opportunity.

3. Olivia’s Café

If you’re hankering for a taste of the islands, you may want to head to this happy haunt over at Disney’s Old Key West Resort. While there is plenty of ample indoor seating where you can sit and take in all the nautical niceties in décor, perhaps you’re looking to pair your palatable picks with a breezy fun-in-the-sun kind of vibe. Well then, we suggest requested seating within their charming little outdoor area. Overhead roofing makes dining in this spot possible even during times of extreme sun or bouts of rainy weather. The open-air atmosphere always retains its bright, cheerful charm, as exuded by the vibrant yet refreshing light green and white hues along with the quaint little tables and chairs.

2. Trattoria al Forno

This acclaimed Italian establishment, located over at Disney’s famed BoardWalk scene, gets to the root of deliciousness by offering delectable breakfast hits by morning and savory regionally inspired specialties every evening starting at 5 p.m. And while the three indoor dining rooms demonstrate old-world charm and grace, there’s a lot to be said about the peaceful elegance of dining al fresco. Do take note, though; the outdoor tables and chairs are limited when compared to the more available seating options inside. So you’re going to want to plan accordingly when making your requests to dine outside.

1. Three Bridges Bar & Grill at Villa del Lago

At last, here is a lovely dining spot that is exclusively open-air. Even better, it’s located right on the waters of the shimmering lake of Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort—Lago Dorado. Named accordingly for the series of bridges you must cross in order to arrive by, Three Bridges Bar & Grill is among one of the most unique dining establishments to be found on Disney property.

As we alluded to earlier, the entire restaurant provides for an open-air outdoor scene. Overhead roofing does offer the needed coverage in the event of uncooperative weather conditions. But all-in-all, you’re dining in the center of a lake with breathtaking surrounding views all around, unhindered by walls or any enclosures whatsoever.
