Disney Hiring
The Walt Disney Company is currently holding auditions for performers in the Magic Kingdom Park stage show Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire.
As shared on Broadway World, Disney is looking for dancers of any race and gender to join Mickey and his friends on the stage in front of Cinderella Castle. It is a contract position starting at $23 an hour and also includes “potential Equity pension, Equity 401K, & Disney health.”

The listing is searching for dancers who have “exceptional dance techniques and performance quality.” They are looking for individuals who are proficient in musical theater and jazz-style dancing, as well as performers with skills in tap, tumbling, and dancing lifts.
Callbacks are scheduled to take place on February 27 in Orlando and March 2 in New York City. All candidates invited for callbacks will be contacted by February 13.

Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire
This daytime show takes place in front of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park. It contains music from Frozen (2013) such as “In Summer” and “Let it Go.”
From The Princess and the Frog (2009), there are the songs “Down in New Orleans,” “When We’re Human,” and “Dig a Little Deeper.

From Tangled (2010) is the catchy tune “I’ve Got a Dream.”
The show follows the story of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, and other classic friends as they make friends from these Disney movies and engage in song and dance numbers.

The show concludes with a grand dance to “With a Smile and a Song” as all the characters and dancers join together to celebrate friendship.
