The Walt Disney World Resort is one of the most immersive theme park experiences there is for Disney fans. From incredible lands like Pandora in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park and Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom to attractions like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Space Mountain, there’s a lot to love about Disney World. One of the best things about the Disney Park experience is how Disney Imagineers from Walt Disney Imagineering are constantly working to bring new and exciting additions to the parks, raising the standard for creativity and innovation in the way they do so well.

Because of how passionate the Disney community is, Disney Fanatics often have many strong opinions about what they want to see in the parks. Disney Parks chairman Josh D’Amaro has mentioned multiple times that a huge part of his job is spending time in the parks and talking to Guests, learning what they like, what they don’t like, what they might want to see changed, and implementing whatever is possible and makes sense for the Walt Disney Company.

But the parks aren’t the only place that Disney fans share their opinions about upcoming rides, fans often take to “The Most Magical Subreddit on Earth” to do so as well. And recently, that community had fans who were disappointed with Disney for not bringing one particular IP to Walt Disney World.

Disney fan u/cloverrainn took to social media to share, “It’s ridiculous there’s nothing Wall-E at Disney World.” The fan elaborated that it was their favorite movie; “It’s one of the most impactful, eye opening movies Disney has. There is so many easy ways to incorporate him…. in Epcot especially. I couldn’t find any merch at all anywhere in the parks, no tribute, picture, nothing.”

The move is regrettable considering the adorable WALL-E robot greeting Guests at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California, last year.

Some fans commented, reminding the OP that there was one part of Walt Disney World dedicated to WALL-E, and it’s pretty ironic. “He has a designated parking lot at Epcot now. Yippee.”

Another also shared, “Technically one of the playgrounds in the park is Wall-E themed so it’s already kinda there. It’s very loosely themed.”

Many fans concurred that while Disney had brought WALL-E to the Parks, but in a way that’s practically only paying lip service to the IP, they were incredibly interested in seeing more.

Another fan shared, “I’m on board with needing way more WALL-E in the parks. Can you imagine if there was a roaming animatronic in Epcot?”

It’s worth noting that an animatronic of WALL-E did once roam around Walt Disney World, at Disney Springs. One former Cast Member chimed in to explain why having this character at the parks is difficult:

Was going to say, he has definitely been out and about in the parks, movie was just after my tenure as a cast member. I think it’s hard to have him out and about, I’ve seen clips of the cars animatronics out and about and they are just radio controlled with a cast member very clearly controlling them. Wall-E would be the same. It’s bad for the show for any character to clearly be handled. That’s why they don’t verbally interact. WDW has stupidly strict guidelines on what character performers can and can’t do

Here’s hoping Disney hears fans and finds some creative way to make this movie come alive at Walt Disney World!
