The American actor Johnny Depp has headed back into the limelight — and back to work in Hollywood — as he recovers from the arduous Depp v Heard trial that made the Pirates of the Caribbean star and his ex-wife, Amber Heard, the subject of many news headlines. The Black Mass actor seems to be in many fans’ good graces still, but apparently, Johnny Depp endeared himself to someone else during his legal challenges!

According to Fox News Digital, “Johnny Depp is dating Joelle Rich, a married lawyer who represented him in his U.K. defamation trial against a British tabloid”.
This trial is not to be confused with the defamation case against Amber Heard, since Johnny’s supposed love interest Joelle did not represent him during that lengthy trial (although she was onsite, supposedly stayed at the Ritz-Carlton in McLean alongside Depp, and supposedly dined with the actor and his legal team often).

It has not been made clear whether or not the couple have been dating for weeks, months, or years since Depp’s U.K. case back in 2020.
According to an unnamed source, Joelle Rich is already separated from her spouse and plans on divorcing him. Rich has two children, and was spotted spending time with Johnny Depp outside the Fairfax County Circuit Courthouse during the Depp v Heard trial. The pair were also photographed entering the Fairfax courthouse in the image shown below.

Johnny Depp was allegedly connected with his attorney Camille Vasquez as well, who was believed to be his romantic partner, but both Vasquez and Depp vehemently denied that rumor.
Joelle Rich is employed by Schillings, which is a firm in the United Kingdom. The lawyer is no doubt going to be facing a lot of public attention now that Fox News Digital has exposed her relationship with Depp, but perhaps Johnny Depp can give her some advice regarding the scrutiny.
After all, the actor who played Captain Jack Sparrow has such passionate fans that he continues to get requests for Captain Jack Sparrow scene reenactments when he comes across his admirers, and Pirates of the Caribbean fans continue to sign petitions asking for his return to the role in Pirates 6!
