It seems that there are times when Guests will do anything to get through a crowd inside of a Disney World Theme Park. The drive to get from point a to point b as fast as possible, or to make space for a parade or Castle show, can result in little regard for the other Guests around them yet a good amount of creativity.
In one recent instance, one woman reportedly used her own child’s stroller as essentially a battering ram to force a space for a parade.
One Guest involved in the incident explained the following in a thread on Reddit, saying:
“We were standing to watch the parade and some lady just decided to use her child’s stroller as a battering ram to squeeze right between us,” the Guest said. “Plot twist, the stroller was empty and it seems she had just used it to fit some room for herself. My wife and I looked at each other with a confused and somewhat annoyed face since she essentially hit us both to make room. It seems she caught sight of the glance and got very defensive with us as if we were the ones who did something wrong. Told us to calm down. (We had said zero words to her or each other.) She then pulled away and stormed off. After the parade we overheard another party complaining about “a lady with a stroller pushing her way through them”. Personally. I blame the heat.”
This is not the first time we have seen Guests act out in order to claim a spot. A few months ago, we covered a story about a fight that broke out seemingly over a viewing spot for Fantasmic! at Disneyland Park in California. Click the link below to read our coverage of that previous story.
Luckily, in this instance, no one appears to have been hurt. This woman did not utilize the stroller in this way while her kids were still inside, and there does not appear to have been any further escalation in the altercation.
We at Disney Fanatic will continue to update our readers on Disney Parks news and stories as more details come to light.
