“Loud and Obnoxious” Woman Ejected from Disney Attraction

Disney is clearly done putting up with bad guest behavior; per a recent report, a “loud and obnoxious” woman was removed from a ride.

Of course, sometimes, what ends up being true is that bad behavior becomes the norm among some guests, leaving others wondering how this became the reality.

There are instances at the Disney Parks (both the Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort) where guest behavior crosses the boundaries of social acceptability. Oftentimes, beyond merely causing disruptions or engaging in disputes, some guests have gone as far as picking fights and altercations with both cast members and fellow guests.

In fact, even instances of deliberately instigating chaos or using threats to manipulate cast members for personal gain are not unheard of in the history of Disney Park visits. However, it seems Disney and its cast members no longer feel the need to put up with these kinds of actions.

Recently, a Disney guest reported that a “loud, obnoxious lady” was removed from the ride Soarin’ Over California at the Disneyland Resort.

In a post online on Reddit, the theme park guest explained, “She was so loud i could hear her from the back of the line and it looked like everyone around her was miserable but nobody said anything but once we all got seated the lady and her friend was asked to leave and she was still there when we left and unloaded after the ride there was sacurity waiting for her i think.”

As it turned out, the guest was asking to see if anyone else had been present when the lady had been removed, and another park visitor corroborated the OP’s story.

They wrote,

YES. My bf and I were sitting right next to her on the ride before she was asked to get off. I did not notice or hear her until we got inside the queue. I looked ahead because someone was being extremely loud. She was chatting up a father and daughter who didn’t seem like they wanted to interact with her. As we were assigned rows, the couple in front of us asked the CM if they could get on the next ride because they didn’t want to be near her. That’s when we ended up directly behind her. She was again loudly chatting up a new family. When we were seated, she continued being loud af and recorded a video with her friend. A CM came by our row and asked all of us to unbuckle our seatbelts because there appeared to be a malfunction. They determined it was her seat and asked her and her friend to get off, but said they’d let them on the next ride. Then they put the red out of order sash on her seat, but removed it before the ride started. After we unloaded, we saw them standing in a rectangle by the exit. Further down the hall around the corner was a bunch of security. My bf and I waited outside at the exit to see if she would emerge with the next riders. She didn’t lol

This kind of bad behavior certainly has no place anywhere, but least of all, at a Disney Park that is designed to be a family-friendly experience. When more guests begin to act in this way, it runs the risk of becoming the new norm.

This normalization of bad behavior can leave other park visitors questioning how and why such conduct has become more prevalent within the Disney community.

The acceptance or tolerance of inappropriate actions by a minority can lead to a culture where misconduct is not only overlooked but potentially imitated by others, tarnishing the magical experience that Disney Parks aims to provide.
