If you’re a Disney Guest who enjoyed the antics of Louis the jazz-loving and trumpet-playing alligator in the 2009 filmĀ Princess and the FrogĀ — and you’re excited to see more of Princess Tiana and her friends in the Magic Kingdom now that Splash Mountain is gone — then you’ll probably be pleasantly surprised to hear that Louis has already started showing up in the Disney Park!

However, “Louis the gator” is not taking his expected form. TikTok user @disneyparksdiy was recently visiting the popular Walt Disney World Resort and Magic Kingdom destination called Tom Sawyer Island — which involves a very short ferry ride — and spotted the friend of the Magic Kingdom’s newest Disney princess resident!

Louis was spotted “going down the bayou” — or that’s what one enthusiastic TikTok user commented, after seeing the video from @disneyparksdiy that featured an immature alligator floating just offshore. Take a look at the miniature Louis in the footage shown below!

Seeing alligators, lizards, or snakes in Walt Disney World Resort is not uncommon, although alligators tend to alarm crowds more than the other options do.Ā After seeing the video, one sage TikTok user pointed out that “while it is a wake up call, at the same time itā€™s always nice to see a gator in general when you have the opportunity.”

We also know another alligator enthusiast — and formerly-aspiring Disney princess — in the region who is famous for her love of alligators and crocodiles!

Snakes often appear in Walt Disney World Resort theme parks and on Disney property, including at Disney Resorts like the Grand Floridian!

Have you ever seen an alligator in Walt Disney World Resort? Will you start calling them Louis now that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is on its way to the Magic Kingdom, and are you excited to see more of the animated movie version of Louis the trumpet player once Princess Tiana’s new ride has made its debut?
