Five hundred drones will come together to create a new nighttime spectacular at this beloved Disney Park at the end of January.
Let it never be said that the Disney Parks and Walt Disney Imagineering are not always working to improve Guest experience and give fans more to look forward to during their Disney Park visits. From constantly reimagining the Parks—remember the blue sky conversations from D23 Expo last year?—creating and designing new rides—Moana-based Journey of Water in EPCOT—and with rethemes (controversial or otherwise) of older, beloved rides, they are always at work to make the Disney experience what fans and Guests alike have come to expect.

In line with that, Disney Parks Blog announced a new nighttime spectacular—Avengers: Power the Night—in Disneyland Paris at its Walt Disney Studios Park. From January 28, 2023, through May 8, 2023, an incredible drone show will color the skies over the Disney Theme Park.
From Disney Parks Blog,
This exclusive new show dedicated to fan-favorite Super Heroes combines music, lights, pyrotechnic effects and video projections onto the Tower of Terror.
The show will feature lighting sequences created by the drones themed to the powers of Super Heroes such as Captain America, Captain Marvel, Scarlet Witch, and for the first time at Disneyland Paris, Shang-Chi.

“Avengers: Power the Night” will also feature a thoughtfully curated soundtrack featuring some of the most iconic scores that were reorchestrated with a symphony orchestra of more than 70 musicians at the famous Abbey Road Studios in London.
The show will be the first ever at a Disney Park that is dedicated to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
While this show is going to be seen over at the international Disney Resort, domestic Disney fans can rest assured we might see a similar counterpart over at Disney California Adventure Park’s Avengers Campus in Disneyland Resort, Southern California as well—considering Shanghai Disneyland saw their TRON Lightcycle Run before the Walt Disney World Resort saw its long-awaited Magic Kingdom attraction come to life.
