A Walt Disney World vacation is certainly memorable, and fans agree this is one Disney World necessity to make it the best it can be.
While going to a Disney Resort can be quite the Disney experience for fans from around the world, there are some ways to make that trip the absolute best it can be. Guests flock to the Disney Parks to get their chance at the Disney magic. Whether it’s because of the heightened prices or simply for the sake of being well prepared, Disney fans suggested what they believed was a “must-have” when visiting a Disney Theme Park in Central Florida.
When going to a Disney Theme Park for your Disney vacation, having a complete Disney packing list is very helpful, and that was precisely one Guest’s question. The discussion was prompted by soon-to-be Disney Guest, u/Sizara42, on Reddit:
Leaving tomorrow for WDW! What did you forget last time you wished you had?
I’m so excited that my brain is short-circuiting.
What would you recommend I pack today that you wished you did?
And, what did you realize wasn’t really necessary?
The OP received many responses, many practical and one that was indeed truly worth noting!
One commenter suggested a poncho for the weather, and another shared reusable water bottles ” unless [the OP] want[ed] to pay 5.00+ a bottle.” The list also expanded to include reusable coffee mugs for cheaper coffee and sunscreen to protect from the winter Florida sun.
The suggestion that took the cake for a Disney World packing list came from u/Rossweiser17, and it’s a good one.
Your patience, grace, and ability to smile through things not quite going how you expected them to. There’s no advil, poncho, or sunscreen that can alleviate frustration or bad attitude. I say this in hopes your trip goes flawlessly but inevitably something will break – whether it’s a ride, an attraction, transportation, or you.
Just breath and have a good time.
Lately, there have been many reports of the Disney Park experience being more stressful than necessary, be it due to badly behaved Guests or unfortunate circumstances at the Parks themselves. However, as the commenter suggested, it’s important to be able to honor the ethos of the Disney Parks as imagined by Walt Disney himself and enjoy your time at the “Most Magical Place on Earth.”
