There’s Bad Disney Behavior, and Then There’s Pooping in an Attraction

Every day, an estimated 160,000 people visit the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. With so many guests, it goes without saying that Walt Disney World sees people from all walks of life. As a result, the resort sees its fair share of bad Disney behavior.

But this? This definitely takes the cake as some of the worst guest behavior imaginable…

With so many people visiting and riding the dozens of fun attractions, there are bound to be ride breakdowns. With all the wear and tear the attractions experience, it’s impossible not to have issues.

But what about when an attraction has to shut down because of guest behavior? That is not as common, but is definitely more frustrating than a normal breakdown.

Reddit user icegirl223 recently asked fellow guests about the most disturbing things they have seen at the parks. And the comments did not disappoint.

One anonymous user shared that, one time, they were enjoying Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon when the biggest attraction at the water park had to be shut down. The reason? A group of children decided to intentionally poop in the water.

The full comment reads:

I was swimming in the wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon when a group of boys gathered in a circle in the shallow end. They all pulled down their trunks and pooped in the water together like some kind of horrible ceremony.

I got out of there as fast as I could and told the nearest cast member, and the whole wave pool was promptly cleared out.

It’s no surprise that Disney had to shut down the surf pool after such a disgusting display. Disney Cast Members needed to make sure that everything in the area was cleaned and disinfected, so nothing bad happened to the other guests.

What was even worse was that they were not young children who were still dealing with potty training. According to the anonymous guest, the boys looked to be around eight years old.

Sadly, while bad Disney behavior of this caliber might seem completely disgusting, it’s becoming more and more normal at the parks. Since the parks reopened after the COVID-19 pandemic, many guests seem to have forgotten how to act in public. Fights have become a common occurrence at parks that are supposed to be full of wonder and magic.

Last fall, a massive fight broke out in Fantasyland at Disneyland Resort as terrified children looked on. We do not know what started the fight, but Disney cast members and security worked as quickly as they could to break it up.

Police body camera footage was also recently released, showing a huge fight between family members at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Park. The fight reportedly began when one brother was rude to another brother, who had paid for everyone to come on vacation.

Multiple arrests were made that night. As with other fights, children looked on and cried as the adults in their lives threw punches and shouted obscenities.

The bad behavior has even made its way to Disney’s foreign parks. Recently, two groups were seen fighting and kicking each other in Disneyland Paris.

The fight allegedly began when one group tried to cut in front of another at the last minute during a daily parade. The family refused to let them in, and that’s when all heck broke loose.

What is the worst behavior you have seen in the parks? Let us know in the comments.

  1. Never seen anything rude in the parks. Do not go like I did as a child and young parent. I’ve been going since they opened their doors and we had to use paper tickets to get on rides. It is a generation of entitlement that causes unrest anywhere ! Those little boys should have been banned for life and I sure hope their parents dealt with them. They would if dealt with them if Disney would if made them cover the loss of revenue.

  2. I had a man hit the backs of both my ankles with the foot pads of a wheelchair because I wasn’t standing inside the rope on the sidewalk at the fireworks at the magic castle. I was stranding directly behind it because I couldn’t get in, it was too crowded. I turned and looked at him and he said “should have been in the lines” and kept on going. My scraped up ankles sure didn’t appreciate his attitude much.
