Spider-Man star and A-list actress Zendaya is a household name these days.
The actress and singer, who started out on the Disney Channel show called Shake It Up alongside now-controversial actress Bella Thorne, has only become more and more successful with time (and her swoonworthy offscreen romance with her onscreen boyfriend doesn’t hurt, either)!
Now, rumors are circulating about Zendaya’s possible return to the Disney fold. The actress and Disney darling is rumored to be in talks regarding a role in the highly-anticipated addition to the beloved Disney movie series called The Princess Diaries!
Anne Hathaway (who recently appeared at the Met Gala alongside Disney CEO Bob Iger) has not yet confirmed if she will be returning to play her lead character Princess Mia and continue ruling the fictional country known as Genovia.
However, a Patreon user and influencer named Daniel RPK (i.e. Daniel Richtman) has reported that the new movie, tentatively titled Princess Diaries 3, will supposedly focus on Mia Thermopolis in her new role as queen.
Daniel RPK also added a big bombshell to his report: a new princess will be introduced! Furthermore, she “will be biracial” — and Disney is considering Zendaya for the role!
If this Princess Diaries 3 casting rumor is true, then many Disney fans and Zendaya fans would most likely be thrilled to hear it!
Zendaya would not be the first Disney Channel star to show up in the world of Princess Mia and Genovia (and we all remember this famous scene featuring said star), but the Emmy Award-winner would be a welcome addition to that world in the eyes of many fans!
