While Salt & Straw offers some flavors all year long, they also have seasonal flavors that are constantly being changed. For the Halloween season, they have gone above and beyond in terms of… interesting choices.

Guests visiting Salt & Straw through Halloween can actually purchase a scoop of ice cream made with bugs. Yes, bugs!

The seasonal flavor is called Don Bugito’s Creepy Crawly Critters. It is a macha-based ice cream that has the addition of crickets and mealworms.

In the spirit of delicious temptation, we’ve collected a happy Halloween swarm of edible critters to tickle your tongue—and your fancy—in sweet green matcha ice cream. Mmmm. Don Bugito’s munchy, crunchy chocolate crickets and toffee-brittle mealworms are a superfood delight. Have a good creepy night.
