With its upcoming opening on April 4, 2023, the highly anticipated TRON Lightcycle Run is most what anyone can talk about. After a years-long wait, and with even another beloved attraction temporarily closing to allow for the construction of this Disney ride—the Walt Disney World Railroad—as more Cast Members have their go during Cast Member previews of the ride, there’s a lot of hubbub about what Guests can expect. Well, now Disney is giving select Guests a chance to test it out for themselves and get tickets to a special TRON preview event coming up in March.

Journalist Scott Gustin took to Twitter to share the news of the latest update. To any Disney Parks fan who has chosen to become a D23 member, we have good news for some of you! Per Gustin, D23 Gold Members will soon “have the opportunity to purchase tickets to a TRON preview event on March 18, 2023.”
The tickets will be going on sale this Wednesday, February 15, at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET. For any Gold Member +1, the cost of the ticket will be $50 (not including the $7 processing fee).
NEW: D23 Gold Members will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to a TRON preview event on Saturday, March 18. Tickets on sale this Wednesday.

The event will also feature a few complimentary services for attendees. Guests can expect the following:
- Complimentary parking at the Transportation Ticket Center
- Light refreshments for all Gold members who attend the event
- A “commemorative keepsake” from the grid
Since July 2017, when this rollercoaster was announced at the D23 Expo, fans have been waiting for their chance to explore and experience this incredible ride in the US, its counterpart already in Shanghai Disneyland. Between the pandemic and other delays, the opening had to be pushed back; the hype around the opening, however, has been so notable that Disney has even given the third TRON movie the green light.
