Disney Shares First Look on Walt Disney World Railroad

After its recent announcement of the return of the Walt Disney World Railroad this holiday, Disney has shared an official first look on the attraction, including a special sneak peek of another upcoming ride.

The Walt Disney World Railroad has been MIA for years now due to the construction of the TRON roller coaster, with Disney fans waiting with bated breath for its return. Earlier today, Walt Disney World Resort confirmed that the Railroad would make its return this holiday season, after its long closure, something that may not surprise many Guests after the many sightings of the Railroad being tested at the Disney Park that were shared on social media. In addition, they also shared a new addition to the Railroad, which has fans thrilled and eagerly awaiting its official return.

But Disney isn’t done yet. As shared by journalist Scott Gustin on Twitter, Disney shared a first-look video on the Walt Disney World Railroad, including a look inside the TRON tunnel. Between a happy Mickey waving and the stunning route the Railroad takes to make its stops in Fantasyland station, Frontierland station, and Main Street station on Main Street, U.S.A., fans are incredibly amped up for what’s to come.

These videos and announcements come after much testing and teasing of the Walt Disney World Railroad, as well as some back and forth about the opening of the attraction.

However, for the longest time, and even now, the website has said the service is temporarily unavailable, leading fans to question if the attraction would ever reopen and if they would ever get a chance at this Disney experience again. However, with this confirmation from Walt Disney World Resort about its reopening and these first-look videos, fans are counting down the days to when they’ll be able to take this beloved, nostalgic train ride around the Theme Park Magic Kingdom once again.
