Six Oogie Boogie Bash Dates Are Gone as Disneyland Halloween Demand Surges

Halloween may still be months away, but Disney fans are already proving just how popular Oogie Boogie Bash remains.

Disneyland Resort has now sold out six nights for the 2026 edition of the separately ticketed Halloween event at Disney California Adventure, continuing a pattern that has become increasingly common over the past several years.

The first two dates to reach capacity were Halloween itself and October 11. Now, four more parties have joined that list, including August 23, September 6, October 4, and October 18.

One trend stands out immediately. Aside from Halloween, every sold-out event has landed on a Sunday.

Because Oogie Boogie Bash is generally offered on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, weekend availability is naturally more limited. That makes those Sunday parties especially attractive for guests planning short vacations or weekend trips to Disneyland Resort.

While six dates have already disappeared, there are still numerous chances to attend.

Most August and September weekday parties continue to offer the lowest ticket prices of the season, starting at $139. Prices gradually increase throughout October, eventually reaching $189 during the busiest stretch leading into Halloween.

For guests who haven't experienced Oogie Boogie Bash before, it's much more than simply another evening inside Disney California Adventure.

The event features exclusive Halloween entertainment, themed food and beverages, collectible merchandise, character encounters, and trick-or-treat locations spread throughout the park. Disney villains play a central role in the festivities, creating an atmosphere that differs significantly from the park's normal daily operations.

One of the event's most recognizable experiences remains its villain-themed treat trails, where guests encounter iconic Disney villains while collecting candy in immersive environments filled with music, theatrical lighting, and live performances.

Returning visitors will notice one major change this year, however.

Disney has confirmed that the Frightfully Fun Parade will not be presented during the 2026 season because of construction taking place inside Disney California Adventure. Instead, guests can expect a Haunted Mansion-themed street party to serve as one of the event's featured nighttime offerings.

The parade has traditionally been one of the biggest draws during Oogie Boogie Bash, so many fans will be eager to see how the new entertainment compares.

Despite that adjustment, ticket demand suggests excitement for the event remains incredibly high.

Six sold-out dates months ahead of Halloween demonstrate that Oogie Boogie Bash continues to rank among Disneyland Resort's most sought-after seasonal experiences. If previous years are any indication, additional October parties could disappear quickly as the Halloween season approaches.

Guests still have time to secure tickets, but waiting too long may leave only a handful of dates—or none at all.
