If you didn’t already know about the ‘watering hole’ known as Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto in Disney World’s Polynesian Village Resort — and the somewhat surprising reputation that it holds — then you might find yourself shocked by this story!
According to TikTok user @ournextgreatadventure_ (who goes by Jimmy), Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto is a popular hangout location for swingers who visit Walt Disney World Resort. Swingers are typically couples who romantically pursue other people outside of their own relationship, together or separately.

Jimmy was visiting Disney World’s Polynesian Village Resort recently, and chose to head to the Resort’s “Grog Grotto” for some tiki bar beverages.
According to Jimmy, “you’re supposed to” chat with your fellow Disney visitors on the neighboring barstools — and this time, Jimmy met someone he did not expect!
At first, Jimmy was simply enjoying a lighthearted conversation with a couple. When it was revealed that the couple was staying at Fort Wilderness just like Jimmy, he was not alarmed.
However, the couple soon tried to persuade Jimmy to share a ride back to Fort Wilderness with them, handing him a note with their contact information and inviting him to join them in their RV that night.

“Needless to say, I declined,” Jimmy said in the video shown below. “But I can now check off getting picked up by swingers at Trader Sam’s off of my Disney bucket list.”
