It may only be October, but it’s never too early to start thinking about the Christmas season! It’s always fun to think about silver bells, snowflakes, hot cocoa, Christmas lights, and jingle bells. Oh, and we can’t forget Disney! No one knows how to do Christmas the way Disney does. It doesn’t matter if it’s in the theme parks or on Disney+. Christmas and Disney seem to go hand in hand.

If you can’t get to Disney’s amazing theme parks to celebrate the holiday season, there’s a ton of great stuff to binge on Disney+. For those who love Christmas movies, there are options like A Muppet Christmas Carol, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas, and the Disney+ original, Noelle.

There is also the incredibly popular franchise, The Santa Clause, The Santa Clause 2, and The Santa Clause 3: The Escape ClauseThe Santa Clause came out in 1994 and starred Tim Allen as Scott Calvin. Scott must take over as Santa when he scares the other Santa off the roof of his house. Fans loved the movie so much that the sequel was released in 2002. Then, in 2006, the third and final film came out.

Last year, Disney kept the classic franchise alive with the release of the Disney+ original series, The Santa Clauses. The show continued Scott’s story, but, after almost 30 years of being Santa, he’s ready to retire. The show’s first season showed Scott on the hunt for the perfect person to replace him as Santa Claus. Things don’t quite work out the way he hoped they would, and he keeps the reins.
