It is no secret that a lot of families who love Disney also love the children’s show Bluey. In fact, Bluey is the most popular children’s show on Disney+. This is incredible to think about because Bluey is not a Disney show. It was created for Australian children by the Australian studio, Ludo, in 2015. In 2019, Disney made a deal with Ludo Studios and bought the international broadcasting rights to the hit show.
This year, Disney did something that they had never done before — they officially brought Bluey and the rest of the Heeler family to Walt Disney World Resort.
On November 2, Guests visiting Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground saw that there was a Heeler Family Hide ‘N’ Seek! According to Disney, Guests who participated would receive a clue sheet that would help them find Bluey’s family members, who were hiding around the Resort. Once all the family members were found, guests could head to the Bike Barn and would get a prize.
Fans were excited to finally have something Bluey related at Disney World. Unfortunately, we have some bad news to share.
The Bluey-themed Heeler Family Hide ‘N’ Seek appears to be no more. Guests who ventured to Fort Wilderness on November 4 learned that they would no longer be able to search for Bandit, Chilli, Bingo, and other Heelers.
No concrete answers were given as to why the experience ended after just a couple of days. There were rumors that guests were having issues with the QR code guests would use during the hunt. Then there were rumors of just generic technical difficulties.

Disney cast members do not know if or when the Heeler Family Hide ‘N’ Seek will return. When asked, the cast members were only able to say that the event was not happening at this time.
Luckily, there are still several scavenger hunts happening at Walt Disney World Resort that guests are sure to love!
Over at EPCOT, guests can participate in Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak as part of the International Food & Wine Festival. Remy’s Hide & Squeak has guests searching for Remy Statuettes and, when they find them all, they can turn in their map and receive a prize. Remy’s Hide & Squeak will run through the end of the festival — November 18.
But the scavenger hunt fun doesn’t end with the Food & Wine Festival.
EPCOT’s International Festival of Holidays will begin on November 24. During the festival, guests can join Olaf’s Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt. The scavenger hunt will have guests searching for holiday traditions that Olaf has spent time gathering, but then lost! Around EPCOT’s World Showcase, the tradition will be spotted with a small Olaf. Guests can then redeem their map for a prize.
Disney Fanatic will let guests know if and when the Heeler Family Hide ‘N’ Seek returns to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort.
