These days, AI (Artificial Intelligence) has been all the rage among Internet users.

AI might still be very controversial when it comes to its real-world application, but Disney fans, Youtubers, graphic designers, and TikTokers have been having a grand time playing with AI rendering tools to reimagine their favorite Disney characters.

So far, we’ve seen some very surprising results when Internet users and Disney fans have created new versions of Disney princesses, Disney princes, and Disney villains with this technology — and some AI interpretations of the alien Stitch created a panic in the Disney-loving community as well — but now the famously-violent HBO show Game of Thrones has also gotten the Disney / AI treatment!

The Youtube channel known as “AI Generated Art” has created Disney princess, Disney villain, and Disney hero versions of the main players from the Game of Thrones world, ranging from Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen to Cersei Lannister and Sansa Stark.

Take a look at the Youtube video shown below to see these characters being portrayed in the typical modern animation style that we’ve seen in Disney or Pixar movies like Tangled (2010) and Brave (2012)!

Seeing these George R.R. Martin characters in animated Disney renderings is not particularly surprising.

Many Game of Thrones actors have appeared in Disney films or TV shows since the hit HBO series had its controversial finale (including Cinderella’s very own Prince Charming, Richard Madden, who teamed up with his Game of Thrones co-star Kit Harington for a Marvel blockbuster).

British actress Emilia Clarke (who played Daenerys Targaryen) has also recently teamed up with this renowned British actress for Marvel’s new spy series, and she played a Star Wars character under the Disney umbrella as well.

Many of these AI art generations seem to be for fun, or for the sake of fanart, but some Game of Thrones fans do think that this particular series could benefit from an animated remake (which is an amusing reversal of the live-action remake debacle that Disney has been contending with as of late)!

As Screenrant pointed out, “animation could be a better option for a more faithful depiction to show the characters in their book-accurate ages. It would also allow a more prominent role for the Stark direwolves since Game of Thrones was forced to diminish them due to likely budgetary constraints.”

The direwolves were fan favorites, and these CGI characters certainly could benefit from getting more screen time in a remake!

Would you like to see Disney leave its live-action remake tendencies behind and focus instead on remaking live-action shows or movies as animated tales?
