Every day, Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort welcome thousands of Guests through their gates. Many of those Guests are excited to be there and treat the Parks with respect as they enjoy fun attractions, delicious food, and wonderful character meet and greets. To many Guests, enjoying a day at Disney is a privilege they respect. Sadly, there are a number of Guests who also visit a Disney Park with anything but respect on their minds. Those are the Guests that make things miserable for everyone else.

As every Disney Guest knows, each ride informs them to keep their hands, legs, feet, and arms inside the ride vehicle at all times. That is done to keep every Guest safe. Unfortunately, there are Guests who not only don’t listen to those directions, but they get out of their ride vehicles entirely. We have seen videos of Guests jumping out of ride vehicles for a photo, and even to grab their phones that they have dropped.

However, a video is going viral for an entirely different — and disappointing — reason. Guests are climbing out of their ride vehicles for one reason — destruction.

Twitter user No Context Theme Parks (@OOCParks) shared a video compilation that is quickly making the rounds. The video focuses on the iconic Disney attraction, “it’s a small world”. The video shows multiple Guests jumping out of the boat they are on, and damaging the attraction. Some people would rip things, others would throw things, and one Guest steals a panda bear and puts it into the boat.

The Walt Disney World Resort website currently has the following under its “Prohibited Activities” section:

  • Engaging in any unsafe act or other act that may impede the operation of the Walt Disney World Resort or any part thereof.
  • Unauthorized access or entry into backstage areas or areas designated only for Cast Members.
  • Please show common courtesy to fellow Guests and our Cast Members by not using profanity or engaging in unsafe, illegal, disruptive or offensive behavior, jumping lines or saving places in lines for others. For your safety and the safety of others, please refrain from running except in designated areas.

The behavior seen in the video is highly disturbing and completely against the rules. If a Guest is even THINKING of trying to pull off a disrespectful stunt like that, they should remember that Disney Parks have cameras everywhere. If a Cast Member sees you behaving in such a disgraceful way, they will wait for you to exit the ride and then have Disney security escort you out of the Park. From there, a ban will most likely be issued.

That leads to one very obvious request — when you visit a Disney Park, BE RESPECTFUL.
