Another Alligator Spotted in Walt Disney World

Guests on a recent trip to the Magic Kingdom got more than the Disney experience they signed up for when they spotted an alligator in the Park.

Walt Disney World is known for its Parks — Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom— but it’s also known for the occasional snake and gator sighting.

While Guests go to the Disney Resort to get their fix of the Disney magic and Disney experience, for one Tiktok user and Guest @adriwdwbound, the trip included a little something more: a gator sighting.

The Guest took to TikTok to share a video of a live alligator at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World Resort, along with the caption:

I can’t believe we saw this! #disney #fyp

Most comments, however, were from Florida natives who were wholly unsurprised by the happening at the Disney Park.

Tiktok user @disneydreamer98 said, “This is Florida. If there is water…there is a gator.”

@Pwabies agreed, “They are in EVERY single body of water big and small in disney… and In Florida for that matter. It’s so funny to me when ppl get shocked by this lol.”

@Theme Park Sims also said, “We’ve seen one in the water by Haunted Mansion while we were waiting in line!

This is clearly by no means the first time Guests have spotted alligators or other animals in the Theme Parks. Over the weekend, we at Disney Fanatic reported on a live snake sighting in EPCOT.

Guests who visit the Parks can find signs warning people that snakes and alligators can be spotted in the area. In fact, earlier this year, there was even an alligator that made its way into the Magic Kingdom and yet another one that had to be fought out of Splash Mountain.

It’s important to remember that Walt Disney World takes alligators on the property seriously and keeping Guests safe from a potential alligator attack is their priority. If a visitor spots an alligator or other wildlife, it’s best to report it to a nearby Cast Member rather than going near it.
We at Disney Fanatic will continue to update readers on the latest Disney news and Disney Parks news.
