Disney has announced new movies coming down the pipeline in 2024.
One of the newest and most anticipated films is Inside Out 2. The original movie is considered one of the best Disney Pixar films in recent years.
Inside Out
In addition to earning an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, it was one of the studio’s last successes before the COVID-19 pandemic.

Inside Out also performed much better at the box office than some of Disney and Pixar’s most recent releases.
In fact, the movie’s popularity earned it an attraction (Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind) at Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim.
The success and praise of the 2015 Disney Pixar film has sent the studio into plans for a sequel. The sequel announcement was made awhile ago, but Disney Pixar has just released a trailer for the new Inside Out 2 movie.

New Inside Out 2 Trailer
The new trailer begins with a quick recap that pulls on the heartstrings of the original movie. Next, a slide with the phrase “but everything changes” appears on the screen.
Then, we are treated to a strange button blinking at the control panel inside Riley’s head. As Joy and the other emotions from the original film wake up, they are puzzled by what is happening.
Then… BAM!
A demolition crew smashes into the room and destroys everything inside Riley’s head. The scene is filled with chainsawing furniture, replacing the control panel, and a wrecking ball smashing glass.

A new orange console appears, much to the confusion of everyone. And we are introduced to a new emotion…Anxiety.
The orange emotion (who gives this writer vibes of the anxious orange M&M character) shows up with bags and says, “We wanted to make a good impression.”
This line teases the concept that more emotions are coming in the new Inside Out sequel, and Anxiety is just the tip of the iceberg.

Other new emotions joining the team for this new film include Embarrassment, Ennui, and Envy.
