If you ask Disney and Pixar fans to choose a favorite franchise, there will be plenty of discussion — but there will also be plenty of participants who choose Toy Story.
The Toy Story movies have become staples in Disney-loving families’ homes, and childhood favorites for audiences who now classify themselves as Disney Adults — especially since Toy Story 5 is now on the way — and Disney has decided to capitalize on that love for toys like Woody, Bo Peep, and Buzz Lightyear with a unique Old West-style Toy Story restaurant in the Disney Park called Hollywood Studios!
This barbecue restaurant has been highly anticipated among Walt Disney World Resort Guests who are eagerly awaiting the dining establishment’s opening within Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and now we finally have some more news about the barbecue joint and the fun that can be expected inside!

This sit-down service restaurant will be set in “Andy’s Backyard” within Toy Story Land, with the desired impression being that Toy Story character Andy has scattered his toys among some cardboard boxes in the backyard to create his own rodeo world.
We’ve already got some information about the mouthwatering menu that will be offered for Andy’s visitors, and the opening date, but now we also know what the Imagineers have been up to in this “wonderful rodeo location”!
According to journalist Scott Gustin in the Tweet shown below, “reservations for Roundup Rodeo BBQ at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be available starting February 21” and “the restaurant officially opens on March 23.”

The barbecue restaurant will feature dining rooms that are inspired by, and focused on, certain Toy Story characters (such as Woody and Emperor Zurg). These characters will be represented in “major showpieces” and surrounded by decor that matches their character’s respective themes.
“The imagination of a kid is endless, and so therefore, we’ve tried to kind of encapsulate that imagination. It has been a real challenge, but it’s been really exciting and fun,” Ben Van Beusekom, a Walt Disney Imagineer who specializes in Color Design and Paint, said in the video.
