Recently, some Disney Guests expressed disappointment at a Disney Park, stating that the presentation of certain aspects was careless.
The Disney Parks have gained their reputation as magical vacation spots through enormous efforts to create an immersive experience for Guests. Pick any of the four Parks from Walt Disney World Resort — Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, or Disney’s Animal Kingdom — or even Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park at Disneyland Resort.
Unfortunately, some visiting the based this week noticed that the newest land at the , , had ruined the sight lines over in .
Disney Guest and Reddit user u/SteveTCook took to the platform to share a photo, with the caption, “Not a fan of this sight line with the Webslingers logo over Mater’s.”

The photo shows that “WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure” is visible from Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree. Reddit user u/Good-Presentation816 noted in the comments that during Spider-Man Stunt Show, Guests in Cars Land can even see the Spider-Man Stuntronic soar through the air.
Many fellow Redditors didn’t necessarily see this as a big issue like the OP and instead made jokes about a Cars and Marvel cross-over. u/nicolelynnjones commented,
We were character watching in Avengers Campus over by the Ancient Sactum / that walkway between AC and Carsland. We didn’t see any characters at that moment but we saw Mater roll backstage pretty close to us. So our inside joke is that Mater is our favorite Avenger.
u/dchurley1 chimed in, “Cars is actually part of the multiverse now,” and u/DayOlderBread16 agreed, “Can’t wait to see car thanos.”
However, one user, u/this_knee, agreed with the OP. They said,
This one really shows, among other ones in DCA, the carelessness regarding sight lines in this park. Don’t get me wrong, there are parts of DCA that really are immersive. E.g. Most of Condor Flats, the entire walking area around Grizzly River Run, the walkways of Hollywood Land, and the far end of the boardwalk where the Paradise grill is. Elsewhere, in places like what’s pictured, yeah the sight lines aren’t ideal. That campus needs more trees anyways. Something tells me they’ll add more shade in a future phase, which might help with some of this.
The Disney Parks are known to be an immersive experience and so it’s unsurprising that some ‘ are disappointed when that immersion doesn’t live up to the standard they expect when they visit a .
We at Disney Fanatic will continue to report on the latest Disney and Disney Parks news as it comes to light.
