There is yet another unfortunate instance of Guests being disappointed by their interactions with characters at the Disney Parks.
The Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort are two of the best places in the world for Guests to enjoy a Disney vacation. Each Disney Resort has Theme Parks that are beloved by fans—like, Magic Kingdom Park, Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World, Disneyland Park, and Disney California Adventure in Disneyland.

But not all Cast Members and Disney characters interactions go as well as Guests would like. In recent months, there have been multiple instances of characters and Cast Members being rude to Guests, dismissing them. In one recent case, a Minnie Mouse character received much criticism for her treatment of a little girl.
And now, there’s more.
Disney Guest and TikTok user Krystal Everdeen (@krystaleverdeen) shared her recent experience while visiting Disneyland, where Minnie Mouse left her heartbroken after putting a lot of effort into creating a look inspired by the beloved Disney character. In the video, Everdeen mentioned she waited for hours to meet Minnie Mouse on the day she visited Disneyland Park. Everdeen also noted her look was almost identical to Minnie Mouse’s holiday look.

However, reportedly, Minnie was apparently underwhelmed to meet Everdeen. The Mouse just pointed at her to stand beside her and take the photo avoiding any further interactions despite Everdeen’s efforts to make Minnie Mouse notice her outfit. This even led Everdeen to share it was “the least magical experience she’d ever had.”

While this does happen, it’s important to acknowledge the many wonderful interactions Guests have with Cast Members and Disney characters alike, like this little boy meeting his hero.

Everdeen did also add that Disney Cast Members are also human. She said, “Everyone has bad days, & that’s okay! Make sure you always treat others with kindness as you never know what they are going through. We love our cast members! The main reason I shared this experience was so you know you’re not alone if u go through something similar.”
