Iconic actor John Stamos recently revealed in his memoir that he was banned from Disney World, sharing the story behind this surprising fact.

Itās also one of the few things that happen to truly anybody. Be it a famous celebrity or the average person whoās visiting the parks, anyone can get banned from both Walt Disney World and Disneyland, and one star revealed that he was, in fact, put on the unfortunate list.

What Not To Do at Disney World?
Getting banned at Walt Disney World requires guests to act out in very specific and unacceptable ways. Itās not the easiest feat to accomplish. Typically, one has to put oneself or another in danger to incur a ban from the Central Florida Disney resort.
Guests either have to get very drunk or get into a fight at the Magic Kingdom (or any Disney theme park) to get banned. People have also been banned after ignoring cast membersā safety instructions and guidance in various situations. Needless to say, itās a situation thatās easily avoided.
Considering this is true, itās surprising to find out that a big-name celebrity revealed that he was once banned from Disney World. Hereās what happened.
John Stamos Gets Banned from Disney World
John Stamos released his memoir If You Would Have Told MeĀ (2023) this year on October 24. In the book, Full House star Stamos brings fans into his childhood, sharing the very genuine connection heās developed with all things Disney over his life. As a Disney Fanatic, itās wonderful to see and read about people from various walks of life who have the same connection to, and love for, Disney.
Since Stamos actually grew up near Disneyland, many of his happy childhood memories are of Disney Park events and experiences; he also has participated in Disney events himself.Ā In his memoir, Stamos explained that he once unknowingly incurred a ban from Walt Disney World.
This is the story.
John Stamos once had a chance to perform at Disneyās Grand Floridian Resort along with the Beach Boys for some promotional material. After the shoot, Stamos went to an after-party, complete with champagne and bikini models, that ended abruptly when his then-girlfriend Chelsea came and escorted him away.
Later on, he came upon another shocking realization. He was banned from booking a room at the resort hotel! No matter how much Stamos tried booking a room over the years after this party, the hotel had only one response: āSorry, Mr. Stamos, no rooms are available.ā
Years later, when Stamos returned to Disney World to film a Full HouseĀ episode where he plays Uncle Jesse, he found out what actually happened at the party and, subsequently, why heād been banned.
He explains in his memoir, āApparently, after the āKokomoā shoot, while I was on The Beach Boysā private jet on the way to the next gig, the bikini babes continued partying and not only left their bikinis at the bottom of the Jacuzzi, but also a bunch of broken champagne bottles as well.āĀ
Stamos continues that once he figured out what happened, he quickly explained that he hadnāt participated in this disruptive behavior and has since been unbanned. He has also frequented the theme parks with his wife, Caitlin McHugh, enjoying a love for Disney together.
